Update For Last Week
I am finally back from my vacation. As promised, here is my ‘Weekly Update’:
-Twitter has lately been experiencing problems due to the fact that the Twitter site was not meant/expected to get s big as it did. The site had been having some substantial downtime. Twitter admins finally fessed up about this, and have announced that they are working on the problem.
-Metal Gear Solid 4 has been played nd reviewed by the PSW magazine. They claim that some cutscenes get up to 90 minutes long! Yeah, ‘90′!
-Warner Bros. announced the next addition to the Terminator movies. They also have announced some major teasers for the film (Google for more). Many more Terminator films are expected.
-Chinese people who have been buying iPhones off the black market will now be furious to know that the iPhone will soon be available in China.
-NASA flawlessly landed a new rover on Mars that has an on-board lab that will collect samples, analyze them, and send the data back to Earth.
-PS3 Bioshock will release in october 2008.
-Firefox 3 will be released in June. The guys at Mozilla want to brea a world record for the most downloaded software over a 24 hour period. So look out for the release date, and help support the great developers who brought you the best browser ever.
-For some reason, Konami has asked all reviewers/testers of Metal Gear Solid 4 to keep their trap shut about any details.
-The FCC has announced that they re considering installing free wifi ccess points across the U.S.. These APs will be available to anyone freely, but they will be slightly slower than the norm.
-Comcast was hacked Thursday. There was bout four hours of downtime. Comcast.net was redirected to a defacement page. Good job guys
